During my 13 years as an Essex County prosecutor for both the District and Superior Courts, I prosecuted thousands of criminal cases, including crimes against children. It was my passion for seeking justice that that drew me to focus on special education law.
My goal for your child is that he/she gets everything required to be successful in their school environment and beyond. I have had great success working with school districts to support a child’s needs in and out of the classroom by adding services, accommodations, and even changing placements. My ability to effectively negotiate and mediate issues has made my practice invaluable to families.
No matter where you are in the process of meeting the educational needs of your child, requesting an initial evaluation, seeking an IEP/504 meeting, or caught up in dispute resolution with the Bureau of Special Education Appeals, what matters most is the wellbeing of your child and I will do everything possible to make sure they get what they need.

You're worried your child is not getting the support needed to be successful in school, but trying to go directly to the school district has proven tiring, frustrating, and sometimes even hostile. Your child deserves better, and that is all that matters.
